“Toscana Rosso Haiku” is produced with grapes that come from the vineyard Montebuoni, located on the hills between Gaiole and Radda in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico. This sensational traditional wine is composed by Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, harvested manually. After soft-pressing, the fermentation in steel containers at a controlled temperature of 30-32°C lasts 25 days. Then the wine rests in barriques 12 months before bottling. This blend consists in 50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Franc and 25% Merlot.
Features of Haiku Toscana
Intense purple red colour with ruby reflections. The perfume recalls wild fruits and blackberry, with hints of mature pepper, spices, green pepper, nutmeg and sandal. Sometimes it is characterized by balsamic sensations that recall mint. The taste is rich, powerful, elegant, soft and persistent
