Wine description
The grapes of this Franciacorta Rosè are harvested strictly by hand in small cases in the second decade of August. The must is extracted with soft pressing and the vinification is done with cold techniques to enhance the aromas and elegance of the wine. After a first fermentation in steel, the base wine ages for about 8 months at a controlled temperature and then ages on the lees in bottle for 30 months.
Franciacorta Rosé DOCG's features
It is a Franciacorta Rosè of beautiful intensity and structure, with a delicate pink color and with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose is elegant, with notes of berries, citrus and hints of toasted bread. The mouthfeel is fresh, mineral, with a well-rounded finish of citrus notes.
