In a wonderful territory located in Lombardy, between the Iseo lake and the Po valley, there are 190 hectares of vineyard which give life to the famous Franciacorta Bellavista, an historical name who represents the excellence in the Italian sparkling wines. The Bellavista Franciacorta Gran Cuvèe Satèn represents the model of the ideal of elegance, sensuality and seduction. The grapes are 100% Chardonnay. The production of the Satè takes place only during the best years by taking care of the grapes selection and the oak barrels maturation. Finally the assembling has to underline the great delicacy and elegance of this wine. The bottle refinement takes 36 months on yeast, follows the disgorging which consists in the removal of the cap where the lees lay down and then the traditional cork with a little metal cage. The Bellavista Gran Cuvèe Rosè Brut is commercialized, at least, 5 years after the harvest.
The characteristics of this Sparkling wine
Esthetically it has a straw yellow color with some gold reflections and the foam is copious white with a very fine and persistent perlage. The scent has a flower, citron and hazelnut bouquet. The taste is soft, pleasant and refined perfectly in syntony with the ripening of the fruit.
Suggestions for the sparkling Franciacorta
It has to be served in flute at 6-8°C. It is excellent for the aperitif time, and it is perfect to be drunk with appetizers, fish starters, fish tartar and main delicate courses.
