This wine is the result of the vinification of grapes in a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Blanc. The origin is the classic one of Franciacorta DOCG. The harvest for these grapes includes a first selection in the vineyard and then the transport by hand from the second week of August. The vinification proceeds with soft pressing and fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The base wines from the different vineyards are vinified separately and then expertly assembled in order to create the cuvée. Aging on the lees in bottle for a minimum period of 48 months in cellars at a constant temperature of 12-15 C.
Franciacorta Brut Nature Millesimato "Zeno" DOCG's features
The organoleptic examination shows an aspect of straw yellow color, with delicate golden reflections, and a fine and creamy perlage. The aroma develops an intriguing complexity, where the floral notes intersect with the fruity ones, resulting in broken shades and hazelnut. The taste in the mouth is straight and elegant, with a savory finish and great persistence.
