Doppio Magnum 3 Litri Primitivo di Manduria RISERVA "Anniversario 62 " DOP in Cassa Legno San Marzano

This bottle is sold to screen-printed Wooden Box, and Double Magnum 3 Liters.

It is a DOP wine. From the San Marzano winery made by Primitivo grapes at 100%. The density is 5000 trees per hectare. The production area is in the San Marzano and Sava hamlets. The soils are red with a fine structure of calcareous and some stones. The red color of the soils comes from the iron oxidized. The warm temperature with few rains with strong thermal excursion. The production area is the DOP Primitivo di Manduria. The grapes harvest takes place in the second half of September and it follows the maceration of the 80% for 18 days and the 20% for 25 days. The fermentation takes place with yeasts at 24°C. Finally it takes place the aging for 18 months in French and American oak barrels. This wine can be aged for 7 years.

Characteristics of the Anniversario 62 Primitivo di Manduria DOP Riserva

It has a charged and elegant ruby red color. The smell is wide and complex with prune aromas together with cherry jam and tobacco, lightly spicy. The taste is bodied, soft and rich of noble tannins with a cacao, coffee and vanilla hints.

It is perfect with red game meats, or with structured courses. It is also a meditation wine. The ideal service temperature is 18°C and the proof is 14,5%.
