Barolo DOCG is one of the best red wines from Piedmont. Located in Monforte d’Alba region, vineyards are known as Nebbiolo da Barolo. Barolo is made from grapes gathered in October. Bunches are placed in cellar, in red wooden cases. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at a temperature of 28-30°C, then wine is moved in oak barrels, where Barolo will remain for 2 years.

On the nose this is a fruity wine: tobacco and chocolate fragrances stand up among a variety of notes. It’s a structured and robust wine with a licorice aftertaste.
