Tormaresca
It is located in Apulia, where viticulture is both history and innovation. The Tormaresca estate is the expression of these two souls. Character, personality and qualitative potential are the characteristics that the Apulian territory transmits to the varieties, indigenous and not, that are cultivated on the company’s territories. This is why the Antinori family’s investments in Apulia began in 1998, considering this region among the most promising in Italy for the production of quality wines, with a strong territorial identity. Tormaresca has two estates located in the most suitable areas for the production of quality wines. In the heart of the D.O.C. of Castel del Monte and in the area of the upper Salento. The Bocca di Lupo estate is located at a height of 250 meters above sea level in the heart of the wild Murgia Barese, near Minervino Murge, in the province of Bari. The soils here are limestone and poor. Excellent for getting quality red wines and excellent whites. The company has an extension of 130 hectares totally planted with vines. The varieties that here are best expressed are those of Chardonnay, Fiano, Aglianico, Nero di Troia, Cabernet Sauvignon and Moscato di Trani. This estate is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Alto Salento, not far from the town of San Pietro Vernotico in the province of Brindisi. The company covers an area of about 500 hectares of which about 250 vineyards, 85 olive groves and the remaining for arable land and woods, developing for about 800 - 900 linear meters along the coast, thus creating a unique landscape of vineyards that are born among woods and pine forests and are lost to the eye until they are confused with the sea. Here the varieties are native and that the local tradition has always valued and preserved, in the name of quality. Negroamaro, Primitivo, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
