Unusual, innovative, young and full of firmness. Tormaresca Chardonnay boasts IGT Puglia classification. It is made of 100% Chardonnay grapes selected within the Maìme estate in the town of San Pietro Vernotico, in the Brindisi province. The Chardonnay grapes are harvested according to technological maturity standards before ammostating in the cellar. After being softly pressed in horizontal membrane presses, the must cools down and is kept at a 10°C temperature in order to obtain natural settling. Successively, the clarified must gets fermented with selected yeasts in thermal-conditioned stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 16°C, in order to preserve the grapes' aromatic profile. The following wine refinement takes place in steel until bottling.
Characteristic of the Chardonnay IGT wine
Its tasting notes give the chance to appreciate a classic straw yellow wine with greenish nuances. The perfume features a wide and slightly sweet fruity profile, with pineapple and apple notes, but it is also delicately floral thanks to the jasmine notes. Its fragrance and wide flavor with balanced acidity please the palate.

Tormaresca white wine Chardonnay IGT Puglia is perfect if paired with seafood dishes. Roasted fish, seafood risotto, fried fish, baked blue fish are the ideal pairings. Excellent with poultry meat or grilled turkey.
