Wine description
This Apulian wine from Tormaresca Winery comes from pure Primitivo grapes that are de-stemmed, crushed and placed in steel tanks for alcoholic fermentation for about ten days. Following the malolactic fermentation there is a phase of refinement for 8 months in steel and then for another 4 months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Apulian red wine
The organoleptic test shows an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The olfactory notes recall red fruits, candied orange and floral notes of licorice and rose. On the palate it is pleasantly savory, well structured and with a slightly fruity aftertaste.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this Apulian red wine
Try it in combination with meat-based first and second courses particularly structured. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 ° C in a glass with a medium opening.
