“Creaman” is one of the most innovative and representative sparkling wines from the Fasoli Gino winery and its name derives from the Venetian dialect, where it means “handmade”, underlining the artisanal care and attention at every production stage. This wine represents the excellence of the Classic Method applied to Garganega, a native grape variety that is a symbol of the Veronese area. Production involves an early manual harvest between late August and early September, with selection of the grapes least exposed to the sun to preserve high acidity and freshness. After soft pressing, the first fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method, with a long aging on the yeasts of approximately 80 months, followed by riddling and dégorgement.
Characteristics of this Veneto Sparkling Wine
On organoleptic examination it appears with a bright straw yellow colour and a fine, persistent foam. The bouquet is complex and refined, with notes of bread crust, wildflowers and citrus notes, especially cedar and bergamot. On the palate it is fresh, elegant and mineral, with a great finesse that fully reflects the identity of Garganega and the long aging on the yeasts.
Recommended pairings with this Classic Method by Fasoli Gino
It pairs perfectly with refined aperitifs, crudités, fish appetizers, shellfish, sushi and sashimi, but also with delicate first courses based on vegetables or light risottos. Its structure also makes it suitable for all meals in elegant settings. The recommended service temperature is about 6 °C.
