This fantastic wine of the prestigious line of the San Quirico winery represents a reference point of the company products by reflecting the local tradition and the majestic of the Chianti territory. The vinification of the red San Giminiano starts on the tree with the selection of the bunches. After two hours from the harvest the grapes are destemmed and softly pressed for the 70%. The wine making process lasts 12 years with several pumping over and punching down. The racking off occurs under temperature control in a barrels of 15-20 hectoliters for at least 15 months.

The San Giminiano of San Quirico has an intense and deep ruby red color. It has a net perfume of red fruits with light hints of vanilla, licorice and spices. The taste is sapid, structured, balanced, warm and it reminds the wild fruits jam. Great the persistence.

The powerful structure and the complex taste make it perfect for structured courses, red meats in humid, spices meats and flavored pastas.
