The son of an almost enchanted land, he was born in the heart of the Picene hills, in Offida. The beautiful medieval city is located right on the famous hills, caressed by the sea breeze that blends and blends with the aromas of the place, giving freshness and great elegance to the aromas. It is here that Ciù Ciù winery produces its wines, in full respect of nature, following a strict biological regime. Among the first to obtain this special certification in Italy, has now abandoned the use of animal products, limited to components of plant origin. The grapes used for this wine were raised with a very special method, called Cordon speronato. The system is based on the presence of a vertical stem, tied with a wire to the next stem, as if it were a real permanent cord. It’s on this joint that you hang spurs of 2-4 gems, so that they’re best exposed to sunlight. Esperanto, a famous artificial language, was conceived with the aim of making different peoples talk, trying to create understanding and peace among them through a second language belonging to humanity and not to a people. Despite the little luck of the linguistic experiment, we are sure that this wine will succeed in the difficult task of making everyone agree. Drink to believe. The vines used for its vinification, represent the perfect integration between the territory of origin and the international expression that this is able to interpret. The blend consists of 85% of Montepulciano, and 15% of Cabernet. The origin of the vineyards lies in the administrative territories of the municipalities of Acquaviva Picena and Offida, in the province of Ascoli Piceno. The harvest takes place manually at the end of September Cabernet, last decade of October Montepulciano. The vinification develops in red wine with long fermentation of the skins, with frequent pumping over, daily cold racking, fermentation in stainless steel tanks and subsequent transfer in barriques. The aging lasts for 12 months in barriques.
