Primitivo Puglia DESIRE LUSH & ZIN PASQUA

This red wine from Puglia is made from 100% Primitivo grapes, one of the most characteristic native grape varieties of this region. After destemming and crushing, pre-fermentation maceration takes place at a low temperature for a week. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of 20-24°C for approximately 20 days. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is aged in wood for 6 months, during which time it acquires softness and complexity.

Characteristics of this Apulian wine

It has an intense red colour with deeper reflections. The bouquet is enveloping, with notes ranging from plum to liquorice, vanilla to cocoa. On the palate, it is full-bodied but well-balanced with an elegant tannic texture and a long finish.

Recommended pairings with this Apulian red wine

Perfect with roasts, grilled meats and mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
