Wine description

This wine is a Magnum 1.5 lt and it is sold in a wooden box.

 

A red wine of the Sicilian tradition that boasts the D.O.C. Sicily. The vines used for its vinification are 100% pure Nero d'Avola grown within the company. Their origin lies in the Trapani countryside in the Borgo Guarini estate. The harvest takes place manually from the first to the last ten days of September, depending on the Crü. For the vinification the traditional red method is followed in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. It takes 12 months to refine the wine, during which the wine remains in French and American oak barrels.

 

Magnum 1.5 lt Harmonium Nero d’Avola Firriato’s features

A dense and deep ruby red colour with lively purple traces. The perfume presents itself with concentrated and well-defined nuances of morello cherry, wild berries, rhubarb, cloves, aromatic herbs and plums, which alternate and intersect with fascinating hints of licorice, ink and tobacco leaves. The taste is sweet, soft and caressing, it exhibits its great personality with a strongly Mediterranean imprint, combining with admirable harmony a powerful and exuberant fabric, extraordinary gustatory vivacity, velvety tannins and rare nobility.

 

Suggested food pairings while tasting this Harmonium Nero d’Avola Firriato

A perfect Sicilian wine to accompany second courses based on meat, excellent with lamb with mushrooms. The optimal serving temperature is 16 ° C in a large glass which favors oxygenation.
