From the most suitable vineyards of the Irpinian territory, the winery Feudi di San Gregorio, has chosen the best grapes of Greco. This is how the "Selezioni" line was created, reserved for the best restaurants and wine shops. The exaltation of quality obtained by the happy encounter of knowledge and passion. From the chalky soil of Santa Paolina were selected the grapes of the most suitable vineyards: Cutizzi is the best expression of Greek. The famous denomination is that of Greco di Tufo DOCG. Grapes of Greco vinified in 100% purity. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature and always between 16°-18°C. Then follows a period of maturation that extends for about 4-5 months in steel tanks with permanence on their yeasts and repeated bâtonnage to put in suspension the fine lees.
Features of Greco di Tufo "Cutizzi"
The organoleptic examination shows a yellow color with very thin golden reflections. Grade refinement and youth. The scent is intense and persistent. The nose has distinct fruit sensations, from the green plum to the typical pear bell, up to distinct balsamic sensations of mentuccia. The taste is in the mouth enveloping, you can immediately perceive the sour shoulder and the pronounced minerality typical of the territory alongside a body never taken for granted. The finish is also great, long and satisfying.
