A sumptuous, fresh Millesimato with a marked minerality on the palate: Freccianera Brut is born from a careful selection of bunches of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Bianco grapes from the vineyards of Borgonato di Corte Franca, Torbiato di Adro and Provaglio d'Iseo. The vineyards facing south/southeast at an altitude of 250 m above sea level are planted on soils of sandy limestone origin. Harvested by hand during the harvest, the bunches are then subjected to soft pressing and then fermented in steel. Once the first fermentation is complete, part of the mass concludes fermentation in 500-liter French oak tonneaux. This was followed by a long stay on the fine lees with reassemblies and batonnage and finally draft in the spring following the harvest. Aging on yeasts requires a minimum stop of 30 months.
Features of this Franciacorta Extra Brut
It has a bright straw yellow color, with golden highlights. The olfactory profile is citrus and mineral, a perfect combination of the salient characteristics of the grape varieties used: elegance of Chardonnay, richness of Pinot Blanc, vigor of Pinot Noir. On the palate it is crunchy and savoury.
