Naturally lacking in sugar content, hence the name Nature, this Franciacorta from the Freccianera winery is made from a careful selection of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from the vineyards of Borgonato di Corte Franca, Torbiato di Adro, and Provaglio d'Iseo. The soils are of sandy limestone origin, and the vineyards are located at an altitude of 250 m above sea level, with a south/southeast exposure. Once collected manually during the harvest, the whole grapes are softly pressed and the first fermentation is carried out in steel at a controlled temperature. This is followed by a long stay on the fine lees with reassemblies and refinement in the tank. Draft in the spring following the harvest. Refinement requires a minimum time frame of 30 months on the yeasts.
Characteristics of this Franciacorta Nature
It has a bright straw yellow color and a complex scent of mineral and fruity notes. On the palate it is complex and elegant.
Recommended pairings with this Millesimato Extra Brut
