The Vistarenni Chianti Classico DOCG red wine can boast the highest award in the wine sector, represented by the certification of controlled origin. The winery follows the most classic tradition for the production of its wines, which have always been characterized by the excellent quality and the enormous cultural characterization that they represent for local winemakers and for the local population. The Chianti Classico DOCG of the Vistarenni winery is vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25 ºC with a two-week maceration on the skins. During alcoholic fermentation daily short and frequent pumping over is carried out to increase the transfer of coloring and aromatic substances from the skins. The malolactic fermentation is carried out immediately after. The wine finally ages in oak barrels for about a year. The production of Chianti Classico DOCG is made with only Sangiovese grapes, 100% of which are grown in the DOCG area of Chianti Classico at an altitude ranging from 350 to 500 meters above sea level. The type of soil is composed mainly of sandstones of galestro and the method of breeding is instead the "spurred cordon" together with the "Chiantigiano bow". The harvest takes place towards the end of September and ends strictly by mid-October.
Features of Chianti Classico Docg wine
From an organoleptic point of view, the Italian wine par excellence, from Tuscany, has a beautiful and lively ruby color, with pleasing cherry and burgundy reflections. Among the aromas there is immediately a fine, clean fruity, with a slight warm sensation of alcohol. On the nose the cherry is felt with its suppleness and softness. The palate reflects the same fresh and harmonious sensations already perceived to the nose and that the good tannic structure supports with more mature notes.
