From the vinification of 100% pure Montepulciano grapes. The origin is that of central north Abruzzo. After the harvest carried out strictly by hand, the must remains in contact with the skins only during the phase of pressing the grapes with the feet and then it is vinified in white with indigenous yeasts and spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks. The wine is bottled without any filtration after a few months in cement.
Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo BIO Emidio Pepe’s features
An intense rosé colour. The nose has a bouquet that is expressed with enveloping aromas of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, pomegranate, ripe red fruit and delicate spicy notes. The taste on the sip is rich and ample, with a juicy, crunchy fruit, a harmonious and fresh finish. A great wine from one of the most important Italian artisan producers.
