The il Poggione estate produces this sensational Rosato Toscano wine a rosé wine made by 100% of Sangiovese grapes. The particular name comes from the homonym picture dated 1888 and posted in the degustation room of the company. After the picking, the must remain for 24 hours on contact with the peels and it followed the fermentation at 12°C for 25 days. The red fruit aromas and the freshness of this rosé wine together with a young structure come from the Sangiovese grapes. The denomination is the “Lo Sbrancato”. The cultivation is located at 150-450 meters above the sea level and the cultivation method is the cordon spur pruning, which is unusual for this area.
