The Brunello di Montalcino Pianrosso from the Tuscan winery Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona comes from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the company vineyards of Val d'Orcia, between 240 and 360 meters above sea level. After the manual harvest in September which requires a careful selection of the best grapes, the bunches are placed in stainless steel and cement tanks at a controlled temperature; This will be followed by the aging phase in Slavonian oak barrels for a duration of 3 years and a final phase of aging in the bottle for 8 months.
