Wine description
The Blaufränkisch vine is cultivated by the Jermann winery since the 1800 and it is dedicated to Sylvia Tunina the last born in this family. The cultivation soils have Eocene origins and they are in the Fortino Mount. The blend is composed by 95% Franconia and 5% Pinot Nero. The exposition is south-west. The wine can be conserved for 5-7 years. There are 16 months of French oak barrels.
Characteristics of the Blau & Blau wine
It has an intense ruby red color. The smell is wide, enveloping, harmonic with herbal aromas. The taste is dry, elegant, bodied and balanced.
Suggested pairings with this Jermann red wine
It is perfect with roasted pork and an apple mustard. It is perfect with the typical courses of Gorizia and Trieste. It must be served in a Ballon wine glass.
