Barolo Vinorum "RISERVA" DOCG is one of the best red wines from Piedmont. Vineyards which give life to this great wine are 100% Nebbiolo da Barolo. This wine is made from grapes gathered in October. Bunches are placed in cellar, in red wooden cases. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at a temperature of 28-30°C for 18 days, then wine is moved in oak barriques of 50 hl, where Barolo Riserva will remain for 50 months.
Characteristics of this Barolo Riserva wine
Barolo RISERVA DOCG, which is considered one of the best Italian wines, presents a deep garnet red colour with shades that make it full and intense, due to the long ageing. On the nose, this is a fruity wine: raspberry, vanilla and cherry notes stand up among a variety of fragrances. It’s a structured wine with an excellent length. In spite of its strength, it proves to be very balanced. Bottle aging is excellent: over the years many flavors will rouse.
