This Barbera d'Asti Casareggio is made from pure Barbera grapes sourced from the vineyards of Agliano Terme: the vineyards are the true protagonists of the process that leads to the birth of these Piedmontese wines, a true expression of the terroir that can then be found in the glass. Winemaking requires maceration with the pomace for about 10-12 days with frequent reassemblies at a temperature of 28-30°C. The final aging phase takes place in 8000-litre oak barrels for 4 months, with subsequent bottling in September.
Characteristics of this Piedmontese wine
It has a very intense ruby red color. The olfactory notes are pleasantly fruity with hints of small red fruits. On the palate it is dry, long and with a perfect balance between acidity and flavour. The aftertaste refers to fruity olfactory sensations.
Recommended pairings with this wine by Agostino Pavia
