“Ruchè di Castagnole di Monferrato” by Montalbera winery, has the DOCG denomination and it is produced with 100% Ruchè in a small area between Castagnole Monferrato and Montemagno, in the heart of Piedmont. The plants are trained with Guyot method. The traditional wine making is followed by the aging, that is developed in tonneaux made of French oak for 10-14 months, depending on the harvest. Then, the wine continues its maturation in the bottle, where it rests horizontally at controlled temperature.

The organoleptic exam reveals a ruby red colour that tends to garnet. Its perfume is intense, persistent and aromatic, with typical hints of red fruits that evolve in oriental spices and black pepper. The taste is powerful, particular and persistent.
