Pecorino IGT "Tertulia" is a white wine from Abruzzo. It’s made from a vine variety in the territory of Teramo, located at 300 meters above sea level, in a favourite region, just a few kilometers from Appennino and Adriatic Sea. 100% Pecorino grapes are harvested in last September and fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature of 18°C. Then it has to be refined in bottle for about 3 months.
Characteristics of Pecorino "Tertulia"
It displays a straw yellow colour with golden reflections. Intense and warm on the nose with mature fruit, apple, peach and exotic fruits scents. Taste is a well-balanced mix of softness, freshness and savoriness. It offers a good length which ends with fruity notes.
Recommended pairings while tasting this white wine
Pecorino IGT should be served at a temperature of 8°C, after being cooled, in order to enhance its qualities. It can be paired with fish dishes, fried food and grilled fish.
