From the Cecchi cellar of Tuscany comes this red wine of the Italian tradition, famous all over the world. The grape variety used for its vinification is Sangiovese for 90% of the blend, to which other complementary and autochthonous grape varieties are added for 10%. The origin is that of the Maremma Toscana, territory within which the renowned Cecchi winery operates. The vinification takes place in red, with cold pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation follows which lasts for 16 days. The refinement of the wine develops for 5 months in barriques and at least 3 months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Tuscan red wine
In appearance, this wine has a bright ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is mainly fruity, with clear varietal memories of plum and cherry. The taste on the palate is velvety in the tannic texture, with good body and good length, pleasantly savory at the end.
