Wine description
Morellino di Scansano DOCG is an organic red wine of Tuscany region, which is fresh, pleasant and easy to drink wine. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and wine is released on the market after being refined in bottle for at least 6 months.
Characteristics of Morellino di Scansano wine by Villa Patrizia
It presents a bright ruby red colour. Bouquet reminds of red fuits, like cherry and mixed berries. Delicate and fragrant in taste, it is an excellent wine to be drunk young, but it can be easily aged for 5 or 6 years.
Recommended pairings while tasting this Morellino "Lorneta"
It should be served in a medium broad wine glass at a temperature of 18-20°C. It is perfect with every day meal, especially with simple main course and fresh cheeses.
