This wine is sold in a Magnum bottle 1,5 liters and it is wrapped in a silk-screen printed Wooden Box.
Expression of the vine variety Aglianico di Taurasi, this wine represents the history and the culture of Irpinia. Each year, it preserves its energic personality and the structure that make it famous worldwide. The denomination “Taurasi DOCG” considers the use of 100% Aglianico grapes. The vineyard is cultivated in the estate Montemarano, with south-east exposition. The soils, full of clay, are located 450 meters on the sea level. Spur pruned training method on espalier, with 4000 stumps per hectare that are able to develop 50 quintals per hectare, that means to harvest around 1,3 kg grapes per stump. The vineyard is 20 years old and the manual harvest is planned from the end of October to the beginning of November. The red wine-making with its long maceration is developed at controlled temperature. Then the aging follows, 24 months in oak barrels and 24 in the bottle.

Intense and deep ruby red colour. Its perfume is rich and complex, with hints of cherry, red berries and a peculiar aroma of spicy. The taste is enchanting, elegant and reflects the previous sensations.
