Wine description
This white wine from the hilly area of Lonato del Garda in the province of Brescia is made from pure Turbiana grapes, grown on calcareous clayey soils of morainic origin at about 150-250 m above sea level. The grapes are harvested by hand between the end of August and the beginning of September and undergo soft pressing: this is followed by fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature of 15°C for about 10 days and final ageing in steel.
Characteristics of this Lugana
The organoleptic examination shows a straw yellow colour and pleasant olfactory notes of flowers and aromatic herbs. Good minerality is perceived on the palate, fresh and soft.
Suggested food pairings with this white wine
Perfect with fish dishes, both first and second courses. Serve at a temperature of 8-10°C.
