The Poja is a red wine Veronese products with Corvina grapes in purity created by the brilliant intuition of its creator Giovanni Allegrini, who in the 70's he decided to plant grapes Corvina Veronese Grola on the top of a small plateau of 3 hectares characterized by predominantly calcareous soil, located in the municipality of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella at 320 meters above sea level. The harvest takes place in late October to get a slightly over-ripe fruit . After a soft pressing, the must is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel with daily pumping. Aging takes place in Allier barriques for 20 months followed by 10 months in bottle.
Characteristics of La Poja wine
Its color is intense ruby. The aroma is reminiscent of the wild blackberries with hints of spice. The palate is a complex wine, full-bodied able to give great emotions.

Serve in large glasses at a temperature of 18°C. Perfect companion to dishes made with truffles, aged cheese, roasted red meats and game.
