The label of this fantastic red wine contain the prestigious and the attention that Cà Maiol gives to its products. The winery is very careful to the territory where the grapes are cultivated. The choice of the label name comes from an hotel in the French Riviera named “Negresco” located at Nice. The Negresco grapes come from the DOP area which is certified by the Technical policies of the Garda Classico production. The blend is made by Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera that have to ferment on their peels to produce a modern and important wine. This wine rests for 12 months in barrels of 225 liters to acquire the taste, scent and color. The Negresco wine is suitable for the aging. The annual production is 100.000 bottles. The proof is 13,5%.

This wine has an austere aspect with a deep, satin and compact red-violet color. The perfume is penetrating with a remarkable pepper and cinnamon aromas. The taste is warm, full with ripen fruits aromas and also with tobacco and spices hints.

The ideal matches are with low cooked meats, roasted meats and vegetables and meats cooked on spits. It is perfect with baked pasta such as lasagna or with lots of molten cheese. It has to be served at 18°C in a tulip wine glass.
