The Chianti Classico Riserva "Cultus Boni" BIO di Badia a Coltibuono is the result of the vinification of Sangiovese grapes and other autochthonous vines in a small percentage. The geographical area is that of Monti in Chianti, province of Siena where there are part of the vineyards of the Stucchi family, owner of the company founded in 1846. The harvest takes place by hand, choosing exclusively from the most favorable exposures; followed by fermentation on autochthonous yeasts and maceration for about 40 days on the skins. The wine is aged in oak barrels for at least 24 months.
Chianti Classico Riserva "CULTUS BONI" DOCG BIO's features
The color is ruby red, quite intense. The aroma is balanced by fruity notes, in particular marasca cherry, with balsamic and spicy notes due to aging. The palate is warm and enveloping, but with well balanced acidity and tannins and an enviable persistence.
