The Champagne Blac de Blancs Vintage of the French maison Louis Roederer is honored by the Champagne AOC certification. It is produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes. This wine has the same composition of the Brut Premier but it is softer and more balanced and it is the perfect representation of the demi-sec of the maison. The quality of the product is made with the roundness and the strength of the riserva used. It is made with a 5% of wine vinified in oak barrels and then it matures for 3 years in the cellar and 6 months after the disgorging.

Characteristics of the Champagne Blanc de Blancs Vintage

It has a bright straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. The smell is wide and rich with intense aromas of honey and candied and ripened fruits. The taste is creamy and full, with a refined and persistent acidity which give a delicate freshness for a perfect balance. The aromas are the candied fruits which reminds the honey and the powdered almonds.

Suggested pairings with this great Champagne

It is perfect with bakery and fruity creams. It is perfect with the wild strawberry pie or it can even be tasted for the appetizer. It must be served at 9°C in high and tapered wine glasses.
