Wine description
The "Seggio" Bolgheri Rosso is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot that come from 4 main vineyards owned by Poggio al Tesoro. The aging of 15 months in barriques of first and second passage, allows this Bolgheri to get a greater roundness, so as to give an enveloping and silky sip.
Bolgheri "SEGGIO" DOC’s features
Ruby red color and the nose gives unmistakable notes of Mediterranean maquis, ripe red fruit and balsamic herbs. The palate has a good structure with elegant and enveloping tannins.
Suggesed food pairings while tasting this tuscan red wine
Excellent with risotto with mushrooms, roasted or stewed meat. Serve at a temperature of 15ºC in a glass fairly broad.
