MEDICI ERMETE

Historical Emilian company, that of the Medici is a winery that can boast one of the most solid experiences of vineyard and winery of the entire regional territory. Everything comes from the simplest ideas: the creation of a close link between the individual vineyards and the individual wines produced, the strict selection of grapes, even at the cost of a yield per hectare of much lower than provided by the production disciplinary, but with the guarantee of a quality never reached before. Not only: a wise vinification, completely renewed plants and a viticulture respectful of nature and the environment complete the production cycle. This is how wines of great territorial adherence are born, from Lambrusco to Pignoletto and Malvasia. Wines that are real references for all fans, starting with the most famous and the most awarded: the "Concert". The story actually began in the late nineteenth century, when Remigio, the founder of the family, decided to build a wine cellar to enhance the vineyards owned. Later, Remigio’s son, Ermete, and then also his nephews Valter and Giorgio, continued along the path traced by Remigio himself, consolidating the company and strengthening a brand that today is the undisputed synonym of Lambrusco.Currently extended over an area of 75 hectares of vineyards, the winery sees active the fourth generation of the family. In the vineyard, exploiting areas highly suited for the breeding of the vine, the integrated struggle is followed, and each plant is treated with scrupulous and rigor. In the winery, love and passion come together with experience, competence and knowledge, so the result is simply exceptional. The 800 thousand bottles produced annually represent a range of impeccable labels, made up of wines always punctual, corresponding to the maximum wine excellence that at the moment can be found in the lands of Emilia.
