LA MARCA
Cantina La Marca was founded in 1968 in the heart of the Treviso area, one of the areas most suited to the production of Prosecco. Since its inception, it has stood out as a second-level cooperative, bringing together several local wineries with the aim of promoting the work of local winemakers and promoting the wines of the province of Treviso worldwide. Today, La Marca represents one of the most important cooperatives in the Italian wine scene, involving over 5,000 winemakers and more than 15,000 hectares of vineyards spread across the plain and hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. One of the main peculiarities of the winery is the strong connection with the Prosecco DOC and DOCG territory. The eight associated cooperative wineries operate in different areas of the province of Treviso, allowing La Marca to promote various expressions of the Glera grape variety and the most prestigious Venetian appellations. The company combines agricultural tradition, modern technology, and shared management that puts grape quality and environmental sustainability at the center. The brand is best known for the production of Prosecco DOC and Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, wines characterized by freshness, aromatic elegance, and great drinkability. Over the years the brand has become one of the symbols of Italian Prosecco in the world thanks to a strong international presence and immediate recognisability, also linked to the elegant style of the bottles and the contemporary identity of the brand. Particular attention is also paid to sustainability and land protection. The cooperative promotes responsible agricultural practices, investment in innovation, and environmental certification programs, with the aim of preserving the winemaking heritage of the Treviso hills and ensuring consistent quality over time.
