MASI

The Veneto region is one of the most suitable from the point of visit wine of all Italy. A varied and multiform territory, always in ferment, with emerging production realities that are flanked by historical and prestigious names. Among the latter we cannot fail to mention the Masi winery, a family business for seven generations that has belonged to the Boscaini family since the late eighteenth century, but above all it represents today one of the most important and authoritative Italian wine brands in the world. Counting on extensive vineyards in both Italy and Argentina, where the Tupungato line gives voice to the territory of Mendoza, the heart of the company, with the winery and the management center, however, remains firmly anchored to Valpolicella, the place where the whole wine-growing project started. Currently managed by a well-coordinated technical group and assembled in a Board of Directors chaired by Sandro Boscaini, the company, linked to the millennial Venetian civilization, has its roots in a historic heritage consisting of exceptional territories and great indigenous grapes. Combining, moreover, the oldest traditions with the most modern technology, the Masi winery is constantly active in the field of research and experimentation, to the point that it has helped to rewrite the history of drying for the production of Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, a wine symbol of the territory, as well as being the forerunner in the recovery and use of ancient Veronese vines almost disappeared, such as the Oseleta. And it is precisely from the autochthonous grapes of these territories, processed according to traditional winemaking techniques, that unique, majestic and famous wines are born in the world, such as Amarone itself, of which Masi produces probably the most qualified and wide range that you can currently find on the international market, with the "Mazzano" and the "Costasera" Riserva always at the top of industry guides, Italian and international.
