Weinbeschreibung
Sant’Antimo DOC is a red wine of Tuscany region. Grapes (60% Sangiovese and 40% Merlot) come from the vineyards of Siena territory, in particular from the slopes of Montalcino at 400 m.s.l. This wine is aged for a year in oak barrels.
Characteristics of the Sant'Antimo rosso DOC
It presents an intense ruby red colour. Its bouquet reminds of mature fruits. Intense and balanced on the mouth.
Recommended pairings while tasting this red wine
It can be paired with elaborated dishes, stewed or grilled red meat and aged cheeses. It should be served in a wide crystal glass at a temperature of 18-20°C. A couple of hours of decantation is suggested to enhance its qualities.
