Montefalco Rosso DOC is a red wine from Umbria of the Winery Plani Arche, located in Cannara in the province of Perugia. The philosophy of the company, that from many years produces wines from organic and biodynamic farming, is to offer good wines, healthy (no pesticide residues) manufactured respecting the environment. The grapes that produce this wine are 60% Sangiovese, 25% Barbera and 15% Sagrantino. The aging takes place in large wooden barrels for at least 12 months.
Characteristics of Rosso di Montefalco wine
Ist colori is ruby red tending to garnet. The aroma is spicy with hints of tobacco. The palate is well structured and persistent, slightly tannic, it softens with age.
