This rosé wine from the Cantina Perla del Garda, located near Brescia, is made from 100% Rebo grapes grown on vineyards at an altitude of 150-250 m above sea level on calcareous soils. Manual harvesting, which takes place in August, leads to the picking of the best bunches, which are then subjected to soft pressing after 3 hours of maceration on the skins. This is followed by fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature for about 10 days and final ageing in steel.
Characteristics of this rosé wine
On organoleptic examination, it is striking for its very delicate antique pink colour, the same delicacy we find on the nose with hints of red fruits and on the palate with freshness and aromaticity.
