Wine description
Produced from 60% Barbera and 40% Merlot grapes, this rosé wine from the Piedmontese Villa Sparina winery originates from vineyards located on clay-limestone soils with a predominantly south-westerly exposure, at about 350-400 m above sea level. Following the harvest in September, fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 17°C for a period of about two weeks.
Characteristics of this rosé wine from Piedmont
On organoleptic examination it has a pale pink colour; the olfactory notes are fruity and floral and characterised by a certain freshness. On the palate it is harmonious and well structured.
