Defined as “a volcano in the glass”. Elegant, full of tannins, violet and rose, flint. It is like the Etna volcano, huge, but never cheeky. It is produced with Nerello Mascalese variety, cultivated in these black panoramas surrounded by chestnut woods. The vineyards are located in Sciaranova and Boccadorzo a Randazzo, in the northern side of the Etna volcano, in the district of Catania. The vines, that are around 50 years old, has a north-east exposition. We are talking about a different concept of Sicily. Here they produce elegant and refined wines with a great structure and a unique aromaticity.
