Made from 100% pure Montepulciano grapes. The origin of the vineyards lies in the precious areas of S. Martino s. Marrucina 400 mt - Colle di Paolo, Fonte Filippo, Schiavone, Colle Rosina. The harvest takes place in mid-October. Vinification involves fermentation in stainless steel 15-20 days, maceration 20-30 days. Aging 12/18 months in barriques, 100% new. Best seller of the line, sold in 55 countries, the Marina Cvetic Reserve has contributed greatly to the fortunes of Montepulciano in the world. Numerous awards have been received over the years, including the inclusion in the "World Top 100" of the American magazine Wine Spectator.
Characteristics of this red wine
The wine has a deep ruby red color. The perfume on the nose expresses an intense and very fine bouquet. The taste has notes of cherry, currant and violet, enhanced by a slight hint of cocoa and vanilla, open to a balanced, tasty taste, rich in details. Deep and harmonious, it closes with a finish of rare cleanliness.
Suggested pairings with this red wine from Abruzzo
Throughout the meal, it goes well with grilled meats and in general with a rich structure. Try it with a fillet of black truffle. The optimal serving temperature is 16 ºC.
