From the vinification of the precious grapes coming from the vines of Piedirosso (locally called pears e'palummo) 70% and Aglianico 30%. The derivation of the grapes, falls within the limits of the company’s territorial area of Ravello and Scala, Amalfi Coast. The harvest develops at the third decade of October. With manual harvesting. Following the vinification where the grapes harvested at the time of their complete maturation, after destemming and crushing are subjected to fermentation with intense maceration lasting 20 days with subsequent malolactic fermentation and processing in new French oak barrels. 12 months of new French oak barriques.
Characteristics of this Campania wine
On organoleptic examination the wine appears to be an intense ruby red. The bouquet comes first floral notes of rose, then fruity notes of currant and plum, then aromatic laurel and charred wood tertiary. The taste on the palate is full-bodied and warm, balanced and crossed by a precious mineral vein. Excellent length, with the aftertaste that returns to the notes of the nose.

A perfect wine to pair with spicy and aromatic cuisine, it is excellent with the pork loin with wild fennel. The optimal serving temperature is 16 ºC.
