The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Castelgiocondo" is born on the Castelgiocondo estate, a company belonging to the important and refined Frescobaldi di Toscana estate, with the pure vinification of the finest Sangiovese grapes. This wine is the result of a rigorous selection of only Sangiovese grapes in the vineyard, where all the characteristics necessary to enhance this ancient vine are scrupulously respected: the ideal altitude, the draining soils and the south-west exposure. It is a wine of great structure, elegant, balanced, with intense aromas and great finesse. Maceration for the vinification of Sangiovese lasted for 32 days. Then the malolactic fermentation which was carried out after the alcoholic fermentation takes place. The containers for the aging were those selected by the technicians and saw the use of French oak barriques and Slavonian oak barrels. The aging time of the wine takes 2 years in wood and 4 months in the bottle.
