The Barbera d'Alba DOC is a traditional red wine of the Piedmont. The company Giovanni Manzone is located in Monforte D’Alba in the Langhe. The great territory, the good altitude and the slope of the vineyards contributes to the production of the greatest quality wines. The grapes are 100% Barbera picked in the second half of September. The maceration on peels is for 10 days, follows 2 months of refinement in barrels and 10 months in steel. Esthetically it has a ruby red color with some violet reflections.
