Weinbeschreibung
The Vermentino is the vineyard most famous and characteristic wine of the Sardinia and the typical example is the "Ares" Vermentino of Sardinia DOC which is a dry white wine of the Agricultural company located in Martis in Sassari territory. This famous white wine is produced with Vermentino grapes in Purity.
Characteristics of Vermentino di Sardegna DOC
Esthetically it has a low straw yellow. The scent is delicate and characteristic with an intense floral aroma. The taste is fresh and soft with some light almond flavors.
Recommended pairings while tasting this white wine
It has to be served in champagne flute glasses at 8-10°C. It is ideal to be drunk with fish second courses and in the last years it is served also in appetizers in the Sardinia region.
