Wine list | Vermentino |
A white wine symbol of the Tuscany tradition of the Poggio Argentiera winery. It is honored by the IGT Maremma Toscana denomination. It is made with 100% Vermentino grapes. The producing winery wants to remark: “if there is something that remarks the Vermentino cultivated in the Maremma area is the ability to produce wines that bring the Mediterranean flavors”. The “Guazza” of Poggio Argentiera together with this characteristic is fresh, sapid with a light acidity that comes from the closer Tirreno Sea. An apparently simple wine but it must be kept in consideration for its very good quality/price ratio.
Characteristics of the white Tuscany wine Maremma Toscana Vermentino IGT “Guazza”
It has an intense and bright straw yellow color, very captivating. The smell has apple, lily, sage and rosemary aromas together with a citron hint. The taste is fresh, fulfilling, balanced between a good acidity and a sapid aroma not very common. It is drinkable and it ends with persistence and clearness.
