Ornellaia Winery's "Massetino" is a wine made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes hand-picked on the prestigious Masseto hill in Bolgheri. Each individual parcel is vinified separately, and fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in barriques. After a year, the wine is blended and returned to barrel for another three months before being bottled.
